I was thinking about getting a trap bar too. But what else can you do with it besides deadlifts? I like to know I purchased something that has more than one function.

Heavily loaded farmer walks without buying DBs youll never use otherwise, heavy shrugs too

I wouldnt bother personally but can see the benefit, money is too tight right now, fucking everything is kicking my ass financially

I quick shop that barely covers dinner and maybe 1 cleaning product and some fruit totalling 1 bag is like $60AUD

- Even if was only for trap squat, they're cheap even here in Brazil.

Great to hear!

I moved all the bjj posts to a new thread:
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=9279

This thread is too good to be hijacked imo.

Mine is going good too, I am getting 3x training in per week, 1 hour classes. Seems hard to make those classes, but on the other hand only 3 hours per week sounds like nothing, lol

I am training smart these days, trying to only use technique, not going too hard, tapping early etc. It's improving my game a lot and I'm not getting injured or so wrecked coming home like I used to. Happy with the pace, it's realistic for all the stuff going on in life these days.

Also have a friend coming over for drills in the garage a couple times a week to work on stuff. He's older then me and recovering from some injuries so it's all super light and technical/theoretical. I never really trained like that before, I'm looking forward to it.

I haven't trained in nearly 2 months because of new job. Hoping by august, I'd have enough senority to leave an hour early and go back to class. This is the longest lay-off I've had in 7 years not due to injury. Sucks.

Popped my knee in a light roll yesterday.

It's not a complete wreckage but enough to be hobbled up for a while. I'm very depressed about it, I'd sworn to get back to better training consistency after my trip. Now my knee is all fucked and I can't twist or bend it most directions.

I hope it heals fast but sometimes knees just don't recover. :(

That sucks. I popped my knee once and took almost 4 months until I could roll again. shit... that\s a third of the year.
