KUNG FU QUEST - WUDANG EP 1 ENG SUB

Postby Edge Guerrero » Tue Jun 17, 2014 12:15 pm

- I'm watching this series, it's similar to fight quest, but with the focus on kung-fu.
The scenario itself make's the video worth of watching, but the part whem the guy runs over the back of the student's it's very impressive:

Good series. I watched it on TV here (Hong Kong). They were onto season 3 earlier this year, then it just stopped for some reason. Season 3 was getting interesting as they were venturing outside of China. They went to Russia for a Sambo and Systema episode. Thailand for Muay Thai and Muay Boran, and an Aikido episode in Japan. Actually, I'm gonna do some searching, maybe they continued it and I didn't know. Will report back my findings.

I would like to see one on dog style kung fu. I read on wikipedia that it involves a lot of grappling but when I googled it it was just people doing kata like movements.

I believe Dog style is for a grounded man vs standing opponents, primarily using the legs to kick, trip and takedown.

This was another good episode... White Crane Kung Fu and it's connection to Okinawan Karate...

Cool. I'm a BJJer too but my dad taught me Bak Mei (Bai Mei) when I was a kid. So I'm always interested in reading/watching TMAs.
