Royal Babylon: The Criminal Record of the British Monarchy

Postby Masato » Mon Oct 20, 2014 1:12 pm

Haven't watched this yet but I love me some Monarchy-Whistleblowing.

It's mind-numbing how Canadians still think of this shit, let alone the monarchy itself.

Will comment more once I've gone through it.

HM stands for: "Her Majesty's"

Tell me she's just a figurehead:

Just watched - is a GREAT presentation.

Very originally done, full of incredible information.

This family and their continued existence as such is completely absurd.

I'm bookmarking this to go on my documentary page, its that good.

WATCH it, folks.

She's no figurehead.

People are so stupid if they believe that.

All of the Commonwealth's Military is the Royal blah blah..RAF = Royal Air Force. HMS = Her Majesty's Service

Their name is on all government departments, on the military, and her picture is on the money...but she's just a figurehead. And I have a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn.

Thanks DA. I get lonely sometimes here in Canada seeing it this way.

This country is riddled with Queen-worship, no one has any inkling, most think its all very sweet. I detest monarchy, especially the british one. I see pictures of the queen in schools and on the money I find it revolting.

Im only 15 minutes in but surely some of the later stuff in the video would have been a better lead than royals hunting lol.

^ I hear ya Luigi - it is an interesting choice of introduction. Keep watching, I think the idea is to build the case that they operate on a very different sense of morals/compassion than regular folk. They like to kill, they like superiority etc...

I thought it was rather boring, and didn't reveal anything that isn't already common knowledge. The producer just focused on random tidbits about the royals, and their behavior, but he didn't tie it all together and tell us what its all about, or what the bigger picture is.

Fortunately the narrator had a posh British accent, which adds credibility to any documentary.
