Don't be selfish, preserve this world for the next generations.
I'll never long for what might have been
Regret won't waste my life again
I won't look back I'll fight to remain

Her dad is a prominent pro-Putin philosopher. He views the invasion of Ukraine as a justified act to address Russia's security concerns and support the Russian separatists in Donetsk. She was a philosophy major who went into journalism and got a job at RT. She wrote opinion pieces largely in line with her father's line of thinking, seeing the invasion as justified.
She went by the pen name Daria Platonova(a reference to the philosophy of Plato she admired). She spoke English well, here is a video of her discussing Christian Feminism:
Your first guess on the motive is likely that this was ordered by Ukraine to show they are capable of striking targets within Russia, however there is also an alternative explanation.
Dugin was "Pan-Eurasianist" basically believing the Eurasian people shared so many historical and cultural ties a political alliance of Eurasians was desirable. For this reason he was very popular in Turkey where his philosophy is widely studied. Russia and Turkey are historically enemies but this combined with both being treated as pariahs to some extent has brought them closer together. Since at least the Napoleonic era it has been of immense political importance for the West that Russia and Turkey are enemies. The West wanted to make sure one always had to worry about the other, so for example in the 1800s they prevented Russia from capturing Istanbul and the straits to the Mediterranean Sea. For this reason, the fact that specifically the Dugin family is being targeted suggests it may not have been Ukraine, but a Western power, likely MI6 if so.

Why did they kill the girl and not the dad?
If journalism in Russia is anything like journalism in the US, she wasn't worth the bullet.
Just some lemming that regurgitates her orders without any real thought involved. Easily replaced by any number of other unthinking retards.
What a silly target.

The story goes that the car belonged to dugin and he was supposed to be in it but switched cars at the last minute.
People say they all want the truth, but when they are confronted with a truth that disagrees with them, they balk at it as if it were an unwanted zombie apocalypse come to destroy civilization.
They drove to a music festival together in different cars. Apparently Dugin often drives in a car registered in her name. Probably the assassin wanted to kill Dugin or both of them. Russian intelligence says the bomb was planted by a Ukrainian women who escaped across the Estonian border.
Smells like Jewish theater.
Even Putin doesn't openly say that Israeli and American intelligence did 9/11... and we all know that is true.
This whole thing just reeks of bullshit.

Just a prolonged economic implosion... war is a smokescreen.
