The last to testify at Canada's Emergency Measures Inquiry was a policeman who quit during the Ottawa protests to stand with the people. He testified that even though it was a long shot, his hope was that the rest of the police would also do the same, and refuse to enforce unjust/unlawful/unconstitutional orders. He said that if the cops had done this we would have had a whole different ballgame.

I wonder if this may be more possible in Brazil.
