Epoxy resin thread

I picked some up today to play around with. I'm going to do a few personal projects in the near future and I intend on making use of the material.

For now, I pulled those shelves that I made for the kithchenette...



We'll see how it turns out,. I'm going to do another coat here in about an hour.

There are lots of options with this material. The epoxy resin is expensive but mica powder is cheap

- I used to follow a Brazilian artist that did epóxi statues. I found this one of another artist.

Doing a couple little end tables and picked up a slab of live edge wood for a river table.

This'll be fun.

Here is the piece of wood that I will turn into a river table... next to the box that I created this spring to absorb sunlight through my testicles in populated areas.

Got the board for $20. Resin will be expenive, though.

Got the form built. The goop should be here in like a week. I had to order it. I couldn't find it. All I could find in stores is the top coat.

All the river table YouTube dudes are weighing their wood slabs down when doing the pour.

Why not screw them down from underneath?

Also, I guess there is some guy that sues people who advertise the term river table.
