Haven't posted in this thread for a while, but I have to say these trails have been truly wonderful this year.

When covid hit, my wife made a promise to walk in them with the dog every day. Well she's just this kind of person that does what she says and she has gone pretty much every single day lol. This is cool because she used to really not like the cold winters but now she's amped to get dressed up and go.

Anyways I have been doing my best to keep up and have been going tons. It's been so great we have time to think and talk and get all the covid bullshit out of our heads. Stayed a bit more healthy, happier dog etc. Can't really say enough about how good it is to try to do this daily if you can, if you have somewhere to go without phones or structure. It's kept me sane I'm sure.

Go out to nature!!!

FFS

saw coyotes today.

pretty close too, they ran right past me maybe 20 feet away. They are weird, long legs. That's the first time I've ever seen em in these trails. I heard they were there but 16 years that was the first time I saw em.

Very cool.

My wife said she saw some a few weeks back and our dog chased them. Today my dog was distracted and didn't see. Honestly I think they wouldn't likely fight or be of any danger. They might even play who knows
