Why is Buddhism the "COOL" religion of the Western AntiXian/Atheists?

^yeah there was a lot of Silk Road Exchange going on and people like to think and talk about stuff, so some of that exchange going on wasn't just material exchange but also exchange in ideas

....and another observation seems to be that the same people who claim "Buddhism" are the same sort who watch NDT's "COSMOS" series and claim to believe in science and use whatever anti-Xian examples they observed in that series while IGNORING how the early UNIVERSITIES were of Christian Origin but did NDT mention that in "COSMOS" which gave birth to all the "pseudoscientist" minions?

I can't remember if he mentioned Xian foundation of those Universities which ADVANCED our collective knowledge
