Don't be selfish, preserve this world for the next generations.
I'll never long for what might have been
Regret won't waste my life again
I won't look back I'll fight to remain

I hit a wall trying to figure out the mechanics for throws, so I'm taking a break right now to clear my head. All I really have left as far as programming character movements are throws and submissions. Once I get past that, everything else should be pretty easy, but those two things are slowing me down a lot more than I thought they would.
Holy frijole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
How dafuq did I miss this?
Emp, when are we gonna give this "babe" of yours a test drive?!!

I'm not sure when it will be ready. Everything technically works with Chuck and Wand, but some of the animations aren't right. Once I get past the programming issues, it shouldn't take too long to finish the characters and menus. Right now motivation is my biggest obstacle though.
Dude, keep us updated.
I started working on this again, and I'm thinking of switching from a fighting game to a side scrolling beat em up like Streets of Rage/Final Fight. Most of my work so far would be transferable and the process would be less tedious. Plus it opens up more storytelling opportunities, so I think the end product would be more entertaining.

You'd need some long backgrounds, no?
This could be fun to shoop. Let me know if you need help, I would LOVE to design a level!

I'll take any help I can get from the new f7 crew. I want the game to be a journey through the history of MMA, so the levels would be based on all of the major organizations during different time periods. I'll try to make a short demo as soon as I can so you can see what kind of style I want the game to have.
^^ Emp, that sounds Awesome!
When you have your script/levels figured out, please send a few my way, I think that would be hilarious to do.
The idea of the New F7 is that we are able to create bigger ideas than we would by ourselves. If people are willing to collaborate we can step this all up to new levels. And if someone helps your project they will want to come and pay it back.
One day we can all put our experience together and make something fukin pro.
EOW is makin a sitcom (lol), Emp is making epic MMA video games... -it's WORKING!!

Can't wait to play it, Emp
