I remember this match! I must have replayed the Kouchi Gari to Back-Take sequence 100 times when I first saw it.
Leo's signature front-flip roll is very aesthetically pleasing, but it accomplishes very little. It only gets him hooks against lower belts, and in competition he always ends in a Crab-Ride position with Double-Unders. It's not a bad position, but there are no attacks from there and it's not an advancement from where he started. I'd say at best, the move is disorienting.
Leo is one of my all-time favorites, and I love seeing him pull it off, but I've got to be realistic about it.

- Finished watching. Léo could make the majority of the guys looks defenceless on the ground.

- Baret was a good grappler too. And with a cool name that sounded with a Final Fantasy character.

He's well past his prime, but still competes sometimes and teaches down in San Diego. Unexpectedly, my old training buddies are now connected to his org and his style and signature moves are slowly getting diffused into theirs.
He made the Triangle-Armbar-Triangle sequence popular early in his career, then he spent a decade on Leglocks. He's also pioneered the NoGi Ezekiel (from Top Mount and Bottom Half-Butterfly). Now he's the Guru of the Crucifix.
Baret Yoshida definitely belongs among the pantheon of BJJ Legends.
