Herodotus's very detailed descriptions of Scythian customs

So I stumbled upon this today and its a high respected historian giving facts, yet it reads like Conan the Barbarian. Check out this link with part of Book 4: https://penelope.uchicago.edu/Thayer/E/ ... s/4c*.html

Details their methods of sacrifice to "Ares" including human sacrifice. Also interesting the didnt really have pigs in their lands.

Link doesn't seem to work..?

Seems lately every time I find something related to Herodotus it turns out to be gold.

Luigi do you ever watch Robert Sepehr stuff?

If so do you enjoy?
I bet he has some vids on this somewhere
