I just cut out little pieces, so if you scroll through every minute or so is a different jam.

At first it was just me and the bass player, then a guitarist joined and we clicked a lot

Then 2 nights ago another joined, he is not as smooth as the other guitarist but he brought some grit and suddenly we kind of shifted from funk to punk :D the last few tracks were hilarious we went pretty punk and the new guy even started some vocals which I enjoyed immensely lol

The lead guitarist deserves better, but I prefer to play rougher, real funk is supposed to be clean and tight and I don't think we're that good lol

We are totally not trying to become a real band, we're not even writing any songs, just having a ton of fun jamming and making shit up

Anyways here's a mess of different clips:

- You guys need to get a huge deal with a record label, or how i gonna call yor band a bunch of treators for selling out?
True Rock'n roll fans need to critic everything a band does!

LOLOLOL that show is so legendary :D :D

We jammed last night. My friend records stuff but hasn't shared for a while. I'll post some new sessions if I can score em.

I felt last night suddenly I was a bit better than I ever was before. Somehow I was cleaner, tighter, much easier to play. I pulled the kit way back against the wall and sometimes just leaned back on it and minimized the effort to play

It felt like when you get a little bump in understanding/muscle memory in jiu-jitsu. Suddenly you're not quite as awkward as you were lol It's not as hard as you thought.

Sadly the guy is selling his place we jam in, and is moving to the island of Dominica and I will lose my band :(
Maybe it won't sell for a while and we can get a few more months in

Update:

So my band broke up maybe over a year ago.
The guitarist had other things to do I guess, I don't really know.

But then I got invited by this guy to be a backup for him at some local pubs.
He had a SHITTY drum kit, lol like it was literally falling apart, we had to prop it up with bricks and it kept falling over in the middle of songs LOL

Also the place he was booking was on a tuesday night in the winters and it was DEAD. Like 2-3 people all night.
But that was fine with me because we were just jamming. I got free beers while I was there and it was just a chill place to hang out and get away from the daily stress etc.

But I was having so much fun I wanted some better drums.

So a couple weeks ago I sold my electric kit and used the money towards a used kit. It's not great but it's decent and it's a trip to finally have my own kit.

The dude that hires me set up some other gigs since then, we got to play at some other dive bars, a sort of rooftop, and we just played at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto which is a legendary bar where tons of famous bands have played.|

This was the place on Tuesday nights with zero crowd, lol
This was a rental kit because dud'es drums were that bad :D

This was a hilarious place we played in Hamilton. Played there twice now, its so shite but so cool lol:

Green Room at the Horseshoe. Bands like the Rolling Stones etc hung out and probably did drugz in here:

The guy and his brother want to make a real band and rehearse original songs and get real stage gigs, but I declined.

I only want to do lazy cover nights at pubs.
I told him so and he seems cool with it. Life is Good

You got drugged & date-raped there in the 80's

you just blocked it from your mind
