Ka-POW!!!
Loving this system you guys got doing a round for every UFC show, they just keep coming. The tourney I was in was so messy and unorganized it took 100 thread pages just to figure out when the next deadline was, lol. This is amazing
Here are Masato's (un)official scorecards:
Undercard: Total Immortal vs Senor whitebelt: No show for Senor? (not much of a showing for totes either I must say :(
Winner: Total Immortal via no-show
Empty Emp vs Chuck & the Vig
Empty Emp: A solid argument for the value of a simple shoop. Hypnotizing, funny, nicely timed. That being said, this is the semifinals brah :)
5/10 *edit: non-TV-watching Masato didn't get the joke  bump to 8/10
Chuck & the Vig: Well the odds are being proven right - the favourite to win and defending champ is looking like he's on his way for a repeat. SO smooth, so well framed. The ears are amazing, great timing - and a clear coherent concept/idea behind it all to boot. So sad this dude is hating on me, because I really am a huge fan of his work. I'd say he's the top shooper right now in MMA-land... BUT IT AIN'T OVER YET!!! Still lots of room for an upset
10/10
Winner: Chuck & the Vig a-la Wanderlei Silva 2003 GP
EOW vs fungi
(I can't believe this is happening...!!)
EOW: Beautiful. The faces of the guests as AA gets whacked are HILARIOUS. Did you speed up the clapping scene on purpose? It is so funny like that. Skills are becoming finely tuned, EOW is becoming a fucking ninja.
10/10
fungi: Whoa. This is maybe the deepest, most multi-layered intellectual shoop I have ever seen. Brand new idea. MANY lulz all the way through. Compound lulz and plays on jokes-within-jokes. Absolute first-rate shooping skills; EVERY creature face is hilarious. fungi proves twice in a row that a well-constructed image can still beat a GIF. Its like when Jiu-Jitsu makes its revolving return in a world of new-breed strikers. Mata Leon, baby
11/10
Winner: fungi with the HUGE UPSET via late last round RNC after a Hendo-Shogun-esque war
Fighter of the night: AJ 'fungi' Woody (twice in a row)
