Hope she's well brother, take care of yourself
People say they all want the truth, but when they are confronted with a truth that disagrees with them, they balk at it as if it were an unwanted zombie apocalypse come to destroy civilization.

Oh no!!!
Sorry to hear Edge

Good on you for taking care of your mother and being with her.
Sometimes the misfortune and pain of medical issues can oddly be beneficial by bringing loved ones together, and putting into perspective what is important in life.

If you ever wanted to name your dick, you could name it Femur.
When people ask you why, you can say "because it's the biggest bone in my body."

Good luck Edge, hope she recovers fast and not in too much pain.

How is the experience at the hospital? You are in Florianopolis, no?
My experiences with Brasilian healthcare has always been very impressive.
My wife's mother just had a second hip replacement, and they always seem to treat her extremely well. The surgeries always highly successful.
I've also gone several times with my father in law for some medical things, the visits were far superior to Canada.
Once my son got injured on the beach there, he received an ambulance and quick top care, I don't think it cost anything, if not very little.

- We were at Hospital Celso Ramos, very good experience. Good food also. The nurses were amazing. Healkth care here in Florianópolis is top notch, people come from other states to get treated here, from free eye correction surgery, to free knee surgery.
My mom was also atended by a ambulance.

That's good to hear, happy for your mom.

Hard to hear as a Canadian though.
Our healthcare system is seriously going to shit.
