Felt ridiculous doing 180 kg Leg Press. 20 kg split squats kicked my ass. Felt like I hit something approximating proper balance on the third set.
Overall I reckon I need to lose the ego about lifting heavy and do proper form instead. Like Bruce Lee.

I need to start doing more lower body unilateral work

3 days later and I'm still sore, left groin especially. I'll probably start doing muay thai this year.

Nigga youre too old for MT now, the thais gonna quietly at you and take your hard earned baht

Ill let you just hit the pads, do some road work etc but dont go wasting dduring figher's sessions , see if you can create a washed up geriatric farang class where you can all sit around afterwards and complain about the thais being less and less imppressed by your europeaness and how its unfair that you cant cut lines etc like you could back in the 00s

Hitting pads, light sparring and roadwork is all I'm interested in. I'm in better shape now than 10 years ago.

Careful though, old Pattaya taxi drivers stab people for tens of baht. Could end up being a deadly fight!

I had a good squat session two days ago. One the bright side I never really felt like I was going to fail any of the sets, but I felt like not enough of my reps were going extra deep, the workout took a long time, and my tendons were sore after. Thankfully they felt fine the next day. My hamstrings are still sore though(another point for the bright side).

I had an idea today to give my pressing muscles a light stimulus which would theoretically help retain strength until my next session. So I picked a weight which is 59% of my 1rm and did 3 sets of 5. I did a half assed warm up and this was a mistake because my left delt got tweaked pretty much instantly. The low weight and low volume also didnt stop my bicep tendons from feeling discomfort and tenderness. Moral of the story - always warm up your shoulders properly, and even low weights will irritate inflamed tendons.

Onnee of the joyys off being a non drinker is the efficacy of yhour morning coffee
When hungover it wakes you up a little but makes you feel jitttery when sober its perfect feels so good before lifting
