this comes from a dude named Pete Yong, go check him out.
I think it's beautiful:
(well, as beautiful as an ugly mug like Dan's can be, lol)

I might get there one day. I only just the recently started learning 3d basics with after effects after a lot of hours put in for the past 2 or 3 months. Since you say blender is free I will have to put it on my list of things to check out and possibly learn. There is a lite version of the program Cinema 4d in after effects that I just looked into for the 1st time a couple days ago that does assorted 3d stuff. Not even sure yet of what all it can do yet. Each program has such a huge learning curve. I know the feeling of looking at a mountain of a new program to learn.Empty Emp wrote:Do any of you guys have any experience or interest in 3d modeling? I've been messing around with 3ds Max and Blender with the intention of eventually making graphics for games. I know it's going to take at least a year's worth of practice before I can even think about making something to go in a game, but so far the beginner learning stages are really fun, and it's very interesting to see the capabilities even of a completely free program like Blender.
I don't have any follow up. I'm just wondering if any other New F7 Crew members are interested in this stuff.
