Never used to think about shit like this. but now I try and pay attention a little more. so Masato, if someone comes up to you and says, hey Bill, I need to hire you to design a standard design for a power button for pretty much every piece of electrical gadgetry you're going to find.

Well, I sure as shit wouldnt. Symbols are meant to be representative of something. this looks like its either a hard on, or something else.
