I still haven't found any electronica I like besides the Aphex Twin Selected Ambient Works. I think everyone out there likes that one. Coincidentally it is EVILYOSHIDA's favorite album of all time.

What I noticed with Aphex Twin was the complexity of the Percussion. It had syncopation, beautiful layering. It keeps my mind engaged which for me gives more of a calm focus that is huge for over-thinkers like myself.

Here is the perfection I speak of:

The best thing I like about SAW is the recording. It's ghetto in a good way. Too-many-cooks-in-the-kitchen is one of the problems with the music industry.

This is a great track, Kungfool. I noticed you've never made an appearance in the Electronic Music thread, which for the most part, was a gigantic circle jerk between EVILYOSHIDA and Anti-D. It's been inactive for a while now. Hopefully you can resurrect it with some more of these sick beats. Thanks and PLUR.

Yes I was aware of that thread and thoroughly enjoyed it's content. I figured I would take a back seat and allow EVILYOSHIDA to do what he does best and enlighten us.

Like I have previously mentioned I had not found any electronica I liked besides the Aphex Twin Selected Ambient Works. Out of all the eletronic music I had listened to that was the only one liked despite it covering multiple genres. Some would say that is strange but i would it is just another coincidence.

With EVILYOSHIDA's vast knowledge of EDM history, club scenes around the world past and present and having general ear for music he was able to not only open my eyes to a whole other world.

His posts have basically become my playlist as I tour Gyms in SoCal. I didn't really like most of what AntiDIs posted.
