Does anyone suspect the trend of superhero outfits might possible be a result of some sort of cultural programming? I have become suspicious lately that ARCHIE comics are at some level used to hyper-sexualize the kids... and I just put the same CT glasses on the superhero-comic genre and wonder if there may be something similar (?)

I used to think it was just because drawing muscles is fun, and drawing clothed figures is a lot trickier, but hmmm

I read hundreds of these as a kid. They are still plastered all over the supermarket checkouts and convenience stores here... almost every single cover is hyper-sexually charged.
