None of this surprises me, though this is the first I've heard that they have an opponent. After nearly going broke for the first five years pushing a pure sport mma promotional model the Maceo-Fertitta gang finally had had enough of bleeding the old man's fortune, held their noses and cashed in on Shammy, TUF, the Vince McMahon tough guy promoter persona via the Spike TV Dana vs Tito grudge match special and anything else they could lift from WWE. And they've been riding the proverbial gravy train ever since, I only expect the lines to get further blurred, the commissions are now putty in their hands, I'm sure they could do anything Pride ever did in Japan stateside now. It's going to be whatever the public can stomach from here on in I'm afraid.

Yeah but you cant see the action through the fence in the expensive seats. I always thought the best compromise was the IVC ring-with-netting from the bottom rope to the floor. It even opens up a trap where you can get tied up in there and utilize the advantage or fight out of the disadvantage a la Ebenezer Braga vs Branden Lee Hinkle.
