Lotta stuff lost due to Government screwing with everything in China for a long time. Old art images of Monks doing ground grappling. Somehow the kung fu for sport and looks thing took over.

I was watching Treasure Island, and one thing that has come to my mind, i don't think i ever saw a movie with Ninjas vs Pirates.

I wonder how hard it would be to get 1 pirate movie and 1 ninja movie, write a short script and edit pieces from each together to try to make it look coherent? Even just a single scene, then slap a fake movie title like a 15 second trailer: 'Pirates vs Ninjas' lolol
Maybe I'll shoop a fake poster
