Is it weird I've been more interested in Metamoris recently than anything the UFC has put together?
Chael is going to be facing Andre Galvao. I have my doubts of him winning, every good grappler he faced in MMA he got submitted by, not to mention this is pure grappling, not MMA... so it looks grim. On the plus side, as the article mentions, it's a good way to stay active in competition while being retired from MMA. Also, I don't think losing a grappling match to Andre Galvao is anything to be embarrassed about.
Josh Barnett is going to be facing Dean Lister. I thought Barnett was injured or something and that's why there hasn't been any word of his next UFC fight... am I wrong? If he is injured, what's he doing in Metamoris?
Also going to be a "secret match" that will be revealed the night of the event... wonder who it will be... imagine if it was Sakuraba or something?

- I got more interested in watching other orgs than UFC, i still like, the light weight classes present a lot of good matches.
I'm more interested in Metamoris than the last UFC cards.
Chael actually comes to grapple, unlike Schaub, and he is a big guy, i don't think he cares to much about winning or losing at that place in his life.
He probably is doing this to help to divulg the sport of grappling than for the money itself.
I was thinking today when watching old fights, would like to know how is Rumina Sato going, would be cool to me, to have him facing another grappler of the past.
I don't know about Barnett, hasn't read anithing about him in ages now.
Would like to see him.
The card is good, Benson is a good grappler, Kron is far better at submission, but i think Ben sees this as a learning tool.
Other guys i would like to see is Frank Mir, we have pretty good guys here to that would be cool to gain a chance at a huge spotlight like Metamoris.
Aoki would be cool to, Hayato Sakurai, tehre a lot of good grappler that they can bring.
Maybe Arona could come back?

Sakurai used to be one of my favorite fighters. If I remember correctly he took bronze at one of the earlier ADCC's. I always found it odd, though, that he's lost a handful of fights by submissions. I mean, I know it's MMA and it works differently... like how BJ Penn set up the choke on Matt Hughes in their first fight by dazing him with a punch, but... yeah.
There really are a bunch of awesome grapplers/fighters they could bring in to compete.
I just had a thought... imagine if it was Genki Sudo? I'd lose my shit. He's always been my favorite fighter.

- I liked Sakurai too.
He fough some monsters too, so gettin subed happens.
I would like to see Genk back, but his body was prettu beat a couple of years ago.
Some good graplers that come to my mind for some Metamoris are, Leo Vieira, Marcelo Garcia, Murilo Bustamante, Alexandre "Pequeno" Franca Nogueira, Renzo Gracie, Matt Serra, Frank Shamrock, Saulo Ribeiro, Milton Vieira is a very good grappler to, would like to see him.
Maybe Oleg Taktarov?
Or Yoshida?

After today this looks like the only thing Chael has to do... if they even still let him do this.
Looks like it's WWE time for him.

- WWE has his wellness politic, and if Edge and Randy Orton can be suspended, so does everybody else.
But people that fired him so close to becoming a dad are very cold blooded.
Edited to add: Chael started fighting MMA in 1997 as we can see in this link to his fight finder profile:http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Chael-Sonnen-4112
So his body is pretty beat up at this point to try pro-wrestling.
He can coach, probably has other business going, or can work at the backstage of UFC.
Sorry if what i wrote before i edited sounded douche.

- Good thing that Chael is using a decent hair cut again.
