Popped a floater in the gym last night, sucks balls.

A padded shirt is not going to help the pain comes from grappling not from striking being said I suck it up and went in last night anyway

I just did night 3 of a workshop with Laercio Fernandes at our club with a sprained thumb.
Made it through!
Its a 5 day workshop but I only signed up for 3 cuz I'm going to BC tomorrow to see my folks. Mom not doing well
Gonna try to train once or twice in BC

Sometimes training through pain is cathartic, plus teaches you how to deal with pain and still function, most people can't do anything once they're injured

Same for injury recovery-time imo.. Some people fall victim to their injuries and magnify them, they can't do shit for months and months. Yet I find if you have a goal of healing quicker and keep telling yourself you're getting better each day you get better faster.
Of course there is always taking it too far, dummies going to train after knee surgery right away when the doc says to stay off it for 6 months, lol. Gotta find that middle ground.
Heal up, Canuckster! I'll be back on the 7th, maybe we can train on the 9th
