Hey Emp - when is this coming out??

So far, the 'New F7 Crew' has a bad track record for completing video game projects (fungi, I'm lookin at you, bro :) )

Why are you only blaming Fungi for the last game? There were a lot of people, including me, who welshed on that promise.

My game is a LONG way off. I redesigned the format again because prebuilt engines just aren't going to allow me to make the game exactly how I want it. I'm building an engine from scratch in Unity now. It's going to be a hybrid beat-em-up(striking)/turn-based RPG(grappling). I have to build an engine, write the story, create sprite sheets for over 100 characters, and create 10-20 levels. Even if I spend most of my spare time working on the game, it's probably going to be over a year before I'm done.

I thought fungi was directing it - just jabbin him :)

I know, to tell the truth I completely understand - I am starting to take a lot more seriously choosing where to put my creative energies.. we must be careful when we start a project how realistic/worth it it is to actually finish it. Unfinished projects seem such a waste of time, completing a project feels awesome, and yet some goals are just not realistic to complete.

Cheerig for ya whatever you choose to do with the game - are you still stoked to finish it? I'm sure a simplified version would entertain MMA fans plenty too if you wanted - why so many levels?

Keep rockin man
