Before I was married I knew an Irishman that played old Irish records for me and explained a lot of the songs. He made a mixtape of em for me and I used to love listening to it while traveling.

I love the Pogues, listened to all their albums through and through.

I went to see him once with his new band but he drank himself to the hospital that day and couldn’t show. The club gave everyone their money back and the Popes played a good show for free. No Shane though.
