Where I've been

I meant to post something about this last night, and I guess Masato has noticed I haven't been posting much lately. I've been spending every day working on a new woodworking project like the battleship I made. I'm going to post pictures when there is more progress, and of course, once it's finished. I'm also working on 3 paintings. I always visit this forum, and I will return to posting regularly when I'm not working on as many projects.

Thanks guys. Making something out of wood is actually a hobby I picked up in the past year.

Here are a few other things I've done recently:











My Dad collects owl things, and his birthday was in August, so I made him this. The wings spin around in the wind.



My brother just got a full time teaching job as a high school art teacher, and he got a house. I made him this birdhouse as a house warming gift. I have a degree in history as well as art, so this is pretty "me."

All of those things were gifts for people.

If anyone is interested in seeing more of my stuff, I have a Facebook page for my art. I have a website as well, but it isn't as up to date as the Facebook page, and I want to redesign it.

You guys that can do artistic things without computers always impress me. Take away my computer and I'm reduced to a kindergarten level of artistry. I wish I could do this kind of stuff.

Yeah, it says "Phillip and Britta 2014." Him and his girlfriend moved in together. I don't know if it's perfectly translated, but I did my best going by what I found online.
