I went for it, got it like 60% up then failed. I feel like I would have got it if it was my original target and I preserved energy/warmed up accordingly.

In Canada we are measurement bilingual lol Muay Thai and everything American using pounds essentially ensures I will never abandon it. 300 lbs = 136kg.

Unposted training:

split squats 65kg 3x5
barbell holds 120kg 3x20sec
single seated leg curls negatives 3 sets

log press 85kg x 3 full lockout and pause at the top, I will keep doing this way as previous technique would not give any reps that count in competition
seated EZbar skulls 80kg x 14
concentration camp curls 9kg x 24-20-12

deadlifts 205kg x 3
single seated leg curl negatives 3 sets
leg press calf raise with platform angle adjusted for maximum ROM 200kg x 12,12,14

hamstring fucking with me, pain in another area than where injected. physio on vacation for 2 more weeks, so will have to wait a bit.

it is just like I thought it was about 2.5 years ago when the injury was at its worst. there have been multiple sites of tendon and muscle damage in the trochanteric area and so much scar tissue built up that it won't heal naturally. hopefully, again, this is the last area that needs treatment...

My body's reaction to my heavy session on Tuesday has been interesting. On Wednesday my shoulders ached badly but it was actually muscle soreness, a very different feeling from the rotator cuff ache. Thursday the ache was still there, and also it was the last day of me forcing myself to get 150g of protein. Im doing 140 now. Today the muscle soreness in my shoulders was finally gone, and as expected in its place was some rotator cuff soreness. But there are two interesting plot twists - 1. Its not that bad, really doesnt feel like I pushed myself as hard as I did. and 2. there is also some upper pec soreness. Its been a long time since a bench session has actually given me soreness in my pecs. Zero soreness in my triceps, though in my very light session today there is a bit of irritation in the left elbow. Of all the irritation in my body the most significant is actually the left rotator, at least based on todays session. It doesnt seem too bad though and I suspect it will heal quickly.

It short it seems my body is really appreciating the light sessions and rest I have been giving it and I probably also got some solid gains from the ordeal(beyond those shown so far). Tomorrow my task is to sleep in and then do the squat session I was supposed to do Wednesday but didnt to avoid any shoulder issues after Tuesday. Then next Tuesday I will be testing how my shoulders feel after a bit of pressing at 195(~90kg).
