Yeah the “ring” isn’t optimal but they have something similar at karate combat matches and it does sometimes create interesting moments. But tbh I think a conventional ring or mat lay out would be better.

Sometime a go I saw a clip of a Kumite style fight with a wrestler type of guy against a tall tae kwon do guy. The wrestler got k.o.’ed but the setting reminded a lot of the bloodsport “ring” they used in the movie. Very cool concept but only one fight online. Couldn’t find it just now but will post it when I come across it.

No but there is someone that Ryan Dawson refers to often as 'Pug'.

I never looked into who it is, but I admire Ryan Dawson a lot, which means that 'Pug' is likely a highly informed conspiracist.

EY used a pug as his avatar.
I wonder if it's the same source.
