went to jitz? yes I did
It was the last class, the coach closed it after that lol. He is spooked, he didn't roll with anyone.
My wife's business also has lots of classes, she is keeping them going with mixed reactions, some thankful, others not. We'll see in the end how many don't show. I leave here in about 30 minutes to teach my drawing class, we'll see who shows up. I emailed everyone saying if you/your family are in good health that they are welcome to come.
BTW, my dad lives on the Island not far from you and says the reaction is almost non-existent there, life is going on normally. What do you see in Horseshoe Bay/Vancouver?
Well it's pretty normal here too Mas....if you don't need toilet paper! It's panic city for that stuff ffs.
I just think grappling in the worst pandemic since the 1918 Spanish Flu outbreak is kind of risky I guess, that's why I piped up. I had the Swine Flu in '09 and I don't want to get this thing myself, I'll give this one a pass.
Are the ferries still running?
Yeah, everything is still pretty much business as usual coast to coast in Canada as far as I know. Except for the hoarding of toilet paper, surgical masks and hand sanitizer. That's new. We're still very much locked into a Trudeauian 'wot, me worry?' phase.
And speaking of Trudeau, the health and safety of Canadians is well down near the bottom of Trudeau's list of priorities if it's on the list at all I'm afraid. Our appearing to be 'open' and 'compassionate' for his European socialite friends trumps any concern he may have about the effects of this virus on average Canadians I believe. See, the thing is, average Canadians are really an abstract concept for Trudeau, he doesn't really know any so he's the ideal face for carrying out sinister globalist agendas against the vulnerable and duped Canadian population.Makes it easy to allow unlimited flights in and out of the country to anywhere in the world including coronavirus hotspots like China, Iran and Italy. If we all dropped dead he might consider that an unfortunate outcome. And he might not. Or more likely, he might just jet to Monte Carlo and immerse himself in gay orgies and not really think about it at all.
Sorry, got a little sidetracked on Trudeau again there. It happens. Anyway, about the jiu jitsu classes. Wrestling in sweaty pajamas in the early stages of a pandemic is one thing, but if you really want to test your anti viral game at another level you could always head out to the airport there in Toronto and greet folks flying in from viral hot spots like Wuhan and Tehran. You know, shake their hands firmly, maybe offer to carry some luggage.
